Stir Fry Chinese Cabbage Recipe

A taste of chinese cabbage side dish

Ingredients

½ kg white / green cabbage; washed, trimmed and thinly sliced
150ml hot chicken stock
2 tablespoons dry sherry
Juice of ½ lemon
Butter for frying
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Recipe Instructions

Cook.
Melt the butter in a large frying pan. Add the slices cabbage and sprinkle with the lemon juice, salt and pepper. Fry for 1 – 2 minutes stirring constantly. Add the stock so that it covers the cabbage. Simmer for 8 minutes stirring occasionally.

Add the sherry.
Stir in the sherry and transfer to a hot serving dish. Serve immediately.
