Spanish Cabbage Rolls stuffed with Pork Recipe

A delectable cabbage rolls stuffed with pork perfect for an elegant dinner or lunch

1 cabbage
250g minced pork meat
1 big onion
1 tablespoon sugar
Olive oil
1 teaspoon of sweet ground paprika
Salt and black ground pepper

Recipe Instructions

Prepare the cabbage.
Clean the outer cabbage leaves. Drop into boiling salted water for 1 minute. Drain, refresh and reserve. Clean the rest of the cabbage and cut into 1cm cubes and boil in salty water for 10 minutes. Drain and reserve.

Chop the onion and fry in a sauce pan over a medium heat until golden. Add the minced meat and stir fry until the meat turns golden. Add the cubed cabbage pieces. Stir a little longer and then add the salt, black ground pepper, paprika and sugar. Stir together and remove from the heat. Set aside.

Preheat the oven at 180C.

Lay the cabbage leaves on a baking tray and fill each leaf with 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture. Roll up each cabbage leaf to encompass the meat mixture. Pour some olive oil over the rolls and bake for 10 minutes.
