Sausage and Cabbage Bake Recipe

A delicious cabbage dish with sausages to flavor
Yield: 4    Preparation Time: 15 minutes    Cooking Time: 2 hours

Ingredients

1.5kg cabbage
Butter
700g plain pork sausages
Salt & pepper

Recipe Instructions

Cook the cabbage.
Shred the cabbage and Blanche for 4 minutes in boiling water. Drain and refresh.

Prepare the sausage.
Butter an oven proof dish. Slit the sausages and remove the sausage meat. Place 1/3 of the cabbage on the bottom of the dish and season well. Next layer with half of the sausage meat. Press it down firmly. Continue layering with the cabbage and sausage making sure to season each layer. Finish off with a layer of cabbage.

Bake.
Cover the dish and cook for 2 hours at 150C.
