Indian Cabbage and Onion Soup Recipe

A cabbage soup that will tickle your palate

The secret to this tasty soup is getting the right combination of cabbage and onions.

Ingredients

500g cabbage, chopped coarsely
2 cups of water
2 medium sized onions, chopped coarsely
1 garlic clove, chopped
Salt to taste
Freshly ground pepper

For Garnishing:
Chopped coriander
A dash of Tabasco.

Recipe Instructions

Boil.
Boil the cabbage, onions and garlic together in 2 cups of water until tender.

Blend.
Remove from the stove and allow to cool. Once cool place in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain it into a pan and put on the heat.

Cook.
Allow the soup to boil and season well with salt and pepper. Pour into a soup bowl and serve garnished with coriander and a dash of Tabasco.
