Baked Cabbage with Walnuts Recipe

A twist of cabbage side dish with walnuts
Yield: 8    Preparation Time:     Cooking Time: 30 minutes


12 large cabbage leaves
½ cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup onions, chopped
1 teaspoon tasted sesame oil
Soy sauce
1 cup cooked brown rice
Boiling water

Recipe Instructions

Cook walnuts.
Cover the walnuts in a light coating of soy sauce and roast in the oven for 8 minutes at 300F.

Cook cabbage.
Cook the cabbage in the way that you prefer and set aside 12 leaves.

Make the mixture.
Cook the onions in the sesame oil until they are golden. Combine the rice, onions and walnuts and a little soy sauce in a bowl and mix together.

Roll the cabbage.
Roll the mixture into the cabbage leaves and bake for 12 minutes at 350F.
