Baked Cabbage with Mozzarella and White Wine Recipe

A perfect dish for lovers and for sweethearts
Yield: 4    Preparation Time: 10 min.    Cooking Time: 30-45 min
A great recipe to serve as a side dish or as a main meal.


1 head of cabbage, quartered
1 apple, peeled and chopped
1/3 cup of vegetable broth
1 medium onion, chopped
ΒΌ cup of non-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/3 cup of white wine
3 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley
Fresh dill

Recipe Instructions

Preheat the oven at 180C.

Place the 4 quarters of cabbage in a casserole dish and top with the chopped onion, dill, apple, mozzarella cheese and parsley.

Add the vegetable broth and the white wine, cover with foil and bake until the cabbage is tender.

We have used low-fat mozzarella here but for a more creamy texture you can use regular mozzarella.

    Have cooked this, following instructions yet almost all ingredients are still raw at the end of cooking time !!! Why?

    The recipe says bake until the cabbage is tender. Because cabbages can vary in size all over the World.

    So you could cook for longer or use a smaller cabbage or maybe cut into 5 pieces instead of 4.
